Description:

The CAE Professional Conduct Committee is responsible for investigating, deliberating, and bringing to resolution all formal complaints against CAEs. Committee members are expected to attend all Committee meetings, and assist in supporting ASAE’s strategic plan. 

Meeting Requirements:
The Professional Conduct Committee meets only as needed when a complaint is filed against a CAE. The Professional Conduct Committee mainly meets by conference call, but may meet face-to-face. (This committee does not meet at Annual Meeting.)

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must have a current CAE
2. Cannot be involved with candidate preparation for the CAE while serving on a CAE Exam Committee or for at least 2 years after your service on the Committee.

 

Disclaimer:

  • Committee members (or their organizations) pay their own travel expenses to attend meetings.   ASAE does not reimburse Board, Committee, or Council members for travel.
  • New volunteers are required to attend the volunteer group’s kickoff meeting in order to serve. There is no virtual option for this meeting.
  • Members can only serve on 1 (one) volunteer group (council, committee, ad-hoc) at a time.
