Association Insights in Old Town [aka Monthly Events in Cyberspace]

NOTE: In this rapidly-evolving global crisis, we have made two decisions regarding this group: 1) Assn Insights will not be cancelled or postponed, but will continue to be held as 100% virtual events, & 2) Assn Insights will not change our focus from assn mgmt issues to virus-specific topics, but will continue to provide professional insights still pertinent in this new normal.

“Association Insights In Old Town" is a monthly gathering of the association community, by the association community, for the association community that was launched in Jan 2020. Join our group for professional development & professional networking. We focus on our primary audience of association management professionals by ensuring that 1) most all program topics are included in the subject matter listed in ASAE’s CAE Exam Content Outline & 2) most all program speakers are directly involved in the association community. Our monthly events are (NOW VIRTUAL AND) always free, on 1st Wednesdays from noon to 1pm. Earn 1 CAE credit for attending any #AssociationInsightsInOldTown session.

Our April 1st lunch & learn event is “Silver and Gold: Balancing New Market Outreach While Serving Your Core Members,” presented by Kristine Metter, CAE, of Crystal Lake Partners & Barry Pilson, CAE, of the National Business Officers Association. When your association’s environment changes—and growth now depends on expanding to new audiences—how do you adapt while keeping your current members happy? Hear two seasoned membership pros approached this challenge! Bring your own stories—successes & bombs both welcome—as there will be an open discussion of what works & what doesn’t.
