Association Insights in Old Town [aka Monthly Events in Cyberspace]

“Association Insights In Old Town"--launched in Jan 2020--is a monthly gathering of the association community, by the association community, for the association community. Join our group for professional development & professional networking. We focus on our primary audience of association management professionals by ensuring that 1) most all program topics are included in the subject matter listed in ASAE’s CAE Exam Content Outline & 2) most all program speakers are directly involved in the association community. #AssociationInsightsInOldTown is now aka Monthly Events in Cyberspace. Our gatherings are always free, are always on 1st Wednesdays, are always from noon to 1pm & are always approved for 1 CAE credit for attending any session.

Our Oct 7th lunch & learn online event was "EASY WAYS TO PRODUCE ENGAGING VIRTUAL EVENTS” with Lee Gimpel, the founder of Better Meetings. This engaging workshop showed you how it’s done and give you four easy, plug-and-play techniques you can use yourself. Plus, you’ll meet with your association peers and exchange ideas in a way that might surprise you (even if you were in a real conference room). Earn 1 CAE credit and learn how associations really can replicate the magic moments of being at a conference when it’s all online. A 12-1pm webinar was followed by optional 30-minute discussion with Lee. Registration for Nov 7 session coming here soon.
