Volunteer Opportunities
Ad Hoc: Assistance Needed to Test Functional Benchmarking Surveys - Signup Deadline: 03-13-26; Opportunity Begins: 03-17-2026
ASAE is launching a new set of benchmarking surveys this spring covering most areas of association management—such as membership, technology, meetings, community, governance, and HR—building on what was previously known as Benchmarking in Association Management, last updated in 2019. While volunteers have already helped shape the survey questions, we are now seeking volunteers to test the questionnaires in our new survey tool by reviewing as many surveys as they wish (ranging from 2 to 10 minutes each) and checking skip logic, spelling, and overall clarity, as well as suggesting any missing questions or ones that may be ready to retire.

ASAE is seeking volunteers to help select the winners for ASAE’s Individual Honors: Key, Professional Performance, and Academy of Leaders Awards. Read more about the awards program (https://www.asaecenter.org/programs/awards-and-recognition). The Individual Honors Awards are ASAE’s highest individual honors. Successful candidates are change makers in their organization, profession and the association industry. They are engaged members of ASAE, who are leaders within the organization and serve on councils and committees and share their knowledge through giving back. Award-winning applications will convey the significance and impact of one’s involvement in ASAE activities as well as other volunteer professional organizations related to association management or the industry. Potential honorees are committed to diversity and inclusion in the association community and exemplify this in their work.
