Description:

The CAE Exam Committee, together with the CAE Commission, is responsible for the content of the CAE exam. The content of the CAE exam is based on extensive analysis of the skills and knowledge essential to association management. The content outline is updated every five years assuring that the program reflects the changing needs of the profession.  The Exam Committee reviews and edits examination questions, making the final selection of items that comprise each test form, and reviews the items post-exam.  The Exam Committee is also responsible for monitoring the items in the CAE item-bank and for retiring existing items or recoding them to appropriate references.

You must be a CAE to serve on this volunteer group.

The CAE Exam Committee meets face to face two or more times each year.  The committee also meets via conference call at least twice each year. The first meeting is scheduled for October 5-6, 2016 in Washington, DC.

Exam Committee members cannot be involved with CAE candidate preparation while serving on this committee through two years after service completion. Applications for this opportunity will be accepted until July 18 or sufficient applications have been received.
