Models and Samples Library Improvement Task Force

< return to list
Starts: 03-16-2018
Location: Online Opportunity

Description:

The ASAE Models & Samples library is a staff and peer-reviewed collection of resources that help members do their job better. The library includes documents like job descriptions, marketing plans, RFPs, policies, checklists, just to provide a very few examples. The intent is to have available documents for all different aspects of association management.

Members of this group will participate in the improvement of the Models & Samples library in two significant ways:
  1. Reviewing portions of the existing library to identify gaps where additional content is needed, and evaluating existing content to see if its updated and useful
  2. Participating in strategic discussions on this forum, contributing input that can help ASAE staff make decisions about the future of the library

Task Force Opportunity Structure:
Volunteers that apply to this opportunity will be placed in a Collaborate Community.  ASAE staff will reach out, via Collaborate, throughout the year with different opportunities that relate to this topic. For groups with long term work, ASAE will ask annually if any members want to opt of being in the  group.  Alternatively, members can choose to leave the Collaborate group, therefore no longer volunteering for this opportunity, at any time.

Volunteers should expect:

  1. Periods of time with little to no activity within the group.
  2. ASAE staff reaching out to them, via Collaborate, to participate in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, working offline on small projects, answering questions within the group, providing feedback on content/work, participating in survey questions, and/or marketing opportunities to their cohort.
  3. Annually being asked if they would like to continue to participate in the group.
