Description:

The CAE Professional Conduct Committee is responsible for investigating, deliberating, and bringing to resolution all complaints against CAEs. The CAE Professional Conduct Committee is comprised of six to twelve members who hold the CAE.  Each committee member is appointed for a one-year term.

The Professional Conduct Committee meets only as needed when a complaint is filed against a CAE.  The Professional Conduct Committee may meet face-to-face or by conference call.  (This committee does not meet at Annual Meeting.)

Professional Conduct Committee members cannot be involved with CAE candidate preparation while serving on this committee through two years after service completion. Applications for this opportunity will be accepted until July 18 or sufficient applications have been received.

In principle and in practice, ASAE values and seeks diversity and inclusive practices within the association management industry.
ASAE promotes involvement, innovation, and expanded access to leadership opportunities that maximize engagement across identity groups and professional levels. Identity groups include and are not limited to age, appearance, disability, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, nationality, professional level, race, religion, and sexual orientation.
ASAE will provide leadership and commit time and resources to accomplish this objective while serving as a model to other associations engaged in D+I endeavors.
