We are seeking up to 20 committee members to assist in reviewing nominations and making recommendations for the ASAE Awards and Recognition programs, but to be eligible you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a track record of ASAE involvement
  • Have a broad knowledge of the association management profession
  • Have professional experience with CEO’s, association staff, and industry partners
  • Willing to be ineligible for nomination or to apply for any of the programs you reviewed for three (3) years.

If selected to join the committee, you will be assigned to review either the ASAE Individual Honor Awards or NextGen Association Summit Recipients. The ASAE Individual Honor Awards Orientation Call will be held on Monday May 2nd at 11:00am, and the NextGen Association Summit Orientation Call will be held the week of June 6th. Further details will be provided upon selection.

Below is the list of the ASAE Awards and Recognition programs:

  •  Academy of Leaders Award- is bestowed to one Industry Partner or Consultant who has demonstrated exemplary support of ASAE and the association community and who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession. The winner is honored during the ASAE Annual Meeting.
  •  Key Award- is awarded to one association CEO who demonstrates exceptional leadership in his/her own association and in other volunteer endeavors. The winner is honored during the ASAE Annual Meeting.
  • Professional Performance Award- is awarded to one association staff executive who demonstrates exceptional leadership in his/her association. The winner is honored during the ASAE Annual Meeting.
  •  NextGen Association Summit Program- is where leading young professionals and established association thought leaders come together to specifically focus on the state of young professionals in associations and the association community. The event will engage participants in meaningful conversations about the unique needs, perspectives and interest of young professionals, trends facing the association industry, and the role of young professionals in the association community. This program is made possible by the generous support of our strategic partner, Reno-Tahoe USA.
In principle and in practice, ASAE values and seeks diversity and inclusive practices within the association management industry.
