In 2020, ASAE will turn 100. ASAE is seeking about 15 association professionals, AMC leaders, and industry partners for an 18-month assignment.
Task force members will consider how ASAE might best take advantage of its 100th anniversary to benefit the association community, and will provide recommendations to the ASAE Board for goals, themes, strategies, and tactics ASAE should consider pursuing. While ASAE will honor the past and host one or more celebrations in 2020, the focus will be on launching one or more future-looking initiatives.
First meeting will be in the fall of 2016. Final meeting will be in the spring of 2018, with one or two meetings in between. After that, responsibility for implementation will reside with the board and staff, but task force members should expect to remain ASAE members through 2020.
All meetings will take place in person, between approximately 10:00 and 3:00, at ASAE headquarters in Washington. Some input will be requested via email in between meetings, but there will be no conference calls.
Task force members will be selected by the Chair-Elect of the ASAE board, but all expressions of interest should be made via this online application system, and all questions should be directed to Mariah Burton Nelson, CAE.
Thank you,
Mariah Burton Nelson, CAE
