Description:

ASAE Political Action Committee (APAC) is comprised of ASAE members that support ASAE’s involvement in distribution of segregated political funds to candidates for federal office who are supportive of ASAE and the association management community in government affairs issues.  Members meet via conference call 8-10 times each year to discuss strategies to increase fundraising for APAC, but do not have any mandatory in-person meetings.  To learn more about APAC, please click here.

Projects for 2022 - 2023 include:

  • Actively promoting the fundraising receptions held across the country.
  • Reaching out to other volunteers on councils and committees encouraging participation for APAC by promoting the APAC Champions program.
  • Contacting prior donors to renew their contributions to APAC and encouraging consistent support.
  • Discussing and deciding who should receive new financial support from APAC’s funds based upon their background and position on relevant issues.
  • Revamping APAC’s giving levels and reaching out to new locations and donors

APAC welcomes new members who are excited and enthusiastic about fundraising and the importance of ASAE’s PAC.
