The Executive Management Professionals Advisory Council is composed of association leaders who guide and recommend content for ASAE programs, events, publications, and other resources related to the needs and interests of CEOs and senior staff executives.
Focus for 2025 -2026:
Works closely with ASAE staff and members to provide insight into the unique challenges that CEOs and C-level staff face in their roles.
Develops content (education sessions and articles) and acts as moderators and speakers for ASAE and Council-led events.
Supports the elimination of barriers to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all we do.
Meetings:
Eligibility Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a CEO or in a C-Suite level role
Familiarity with ASAE Foundation’s research, Associations Now, and ASAE meetings
Selection Process:
EMAC is looking for at least eight (8) new members for the 2025-2026 term, which means not all applicants will be accepted for this committee. The selection committee is comprised of the incoming volunteer chair, the incoming volunteer vice chair, the outgoing volunteer chair, and the ASAE executive staff liaison. The ASAE staff liaison plays a supporting role in this process. Final approval of volunteers is given by the ASAE Board chair elect.

New volunteers are required to attend the volunteer group’s orientation in order to serve.
Council members (or their organizations) pay their own travel expenses to attend meetings. ASAE does not reimburse Committee or Council members for travel.
Members can only serve on one (1) volunteer group (council or committee) at a time.
