Welcome to ASAE’s Volunteer Town Square where you can volunteer for projects that fit your interests, expertise and schedule. Here you will find short-term opportunities as well as ASAE’s one-year term council and committee board appointed groups. Short-term opportunities appear unscheduled throughout the year and council and committee opportunities are recruited in April.  You can find a list of all the council and committees on the ASAE Volunteer Leadership website.

Opportunities will be posted throughout the year so come back often to see what is available. Please note in order to sign up for a volunteer opportunity, you must be a current member of ASAE and logged in to Collaborate.


Diversity of Voice:  

With support of ASAE staff, the selection committee utilizes the ASAE Board Diversity Policy and Volunteer Model to ensure the group is composed of a variety of voices from the membership. To support this effort, all ASAE members can log into their main ASAE account and update their information in their ASAE Profile to ensure it is complete and up to date.

Power of Associations Awards Committee - 2026 Call for Volunteers - Signup Deadline: 02-27-2026

This committee champions ASAE’s Power of Associations campaign by providing volunteer guidance and amplifying awareness of the vital role associations play in society through judging and awarding nationwide applications for the Power of Associations Summit Awards – ASAE’s highest honor for associations that go above and beyond their everyday mission to undertake initiatives that benefit America and the world.

2026 Call for Gold Circle Awards Judges - Signup Deadline: 02-5-2026; Opportunity Begins: 02-19-2026

We are seeking judges to assist in reviewing and scoring entries for the 2026 Gold Circle Awards (GCA) Program. The Gold Circle Award (GCA) program recognizes excellence in marketing, membership, and communication programs produced by associations. Entries for the Gold Circle Awards competition are evaluated in each category based on established criteria for excellence in association marketing, membership, and communications programs. Judges are from a variety of associations, nonprofits, and for-profit organizations. GCA trophies are given out each year to the most deserving associations, those that truly stand head and shoulders above their peers.
