Advocacy and Beyond: Amplifying the Impact of Association DEI Initiatives

When:  Oct 6, 2021 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)

Since coming into office, the Biden Administration has emphasized the advancement of racial equity and support for underserved communities throughout the federal government. At the same time, associations are accelerating their own diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This is creating a unique opportunity for associations to bring together their programmatic, outreach, and advocacy work to maximize the impact of their DEI efforts for those that they serve.

Please join the ASAE Government Relations and Advocacy Professionals Advisory Council on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM EDT to hear from a panel of association leaders who are at the forefront of advancing DEI efforts with both policymakers and their own members. From working to reduce health disparities to increasing the diversity of the veterinary profession, academic medicine, and beyond, these leaders will share case studies, best practices, and hard-won lessons learned that you can apply within your association to amplify the impact of your DEI efforts.

Note: Live attendees are eligible for 1 CAE recertification credit.
