Corporate Partnerships/Sponsorships Idea Exchange in Washington, DC

Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM ET

Corporate Sponsorship/Partnership Idea Exchange

Almost every association and organization faces similar challenges with their partnership/sponsorship program: (1) how to increase revenue; (2) how to increase member value; (3) how to increase corporate partner/sponsor value.

Our Idea Exchanges are the only forum where staff from associations and not-for-profit organizations can strategize and problem-solve about ways to make their corporate sponsorship/partnership programs more effective. Every participant leaves with ideas they can implement in their corporate partnership/sponsorship program.

There is no fee to attend these Idea Exchanges. If your schedule is such that you need to arrive late or leave early, that’s OK.

Agenda for June meeting:

  • Share an example of your organization’s most successful (unique) corporate partnership or partnership benefit.
  • What are the responsibilities of the association and the corporate partner for activation? The answer will impact the success of your program.
  • What is the different between corporate partners and corporate sponsors? Are corporate partners/sponsors members of your association or vendors? The differences in terminology are important.
  • What are some ways to get your organization’s staff more involved in adding value for your corporate partners (and not view corporate partners as a “necessary evil”)?
  • What is your biggest challenge or dilemma with your corporate partner program? Share it with the group for a solutions-focused brainstorming discussion.
