About the Session
Research shows that those who embrace gender and ethnic diversity, equity and inclusion perform 25 percent better financially, and are more innovative. But as association executives, how do we improve our DEI efforts, start the conversation, include actions to back up our words?
Join us for the September virtual DC Swap, as Robb Lee, Chief Marketing Officer for ASAE leads an important discussion with Vicki Deal-Williams, MA, FASAE, CAE, Chief Staff Officer for Multicultural Affairs at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Irving Washington, FASE, CAE, Executive Director, Online News Association and ASAE board member and Nathan Victoria, CAE, Executive Director for the Society for Personality Assessment.
Vicki and Irving are co-authors of the diversity chapter for the upcoming edition for the Handbook of Professional Practice in Association Management 4th Edition. Hear the behind-the-scenes insights on their discussions and debates while writing the chapter during one of the most pivotal times of racial unrest in the nation.
And because the September Idea Swap will be held on Zoom, it’s open to all association executives around the world!
