Alexandria Brown Bag: Why Resiliency Matters For Association Professionals

When:  Feb 16, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)
Why Resiliency Matters for Association Professionals
Hint...resilient professionals have a stronger executive presence and are better able to handle day-to-day work and life stressors

Session Description:
In this professional development session, executive coach Carol Vernon (Communication Matters) will define and address the importance of resiliency to our professional success and identify key resilient behaviors specific to association professionals. Examples include setting appropriate boundaries, saying “no” in order to say “yes” to what matters most and where you bring the most value, and caring for yourself in ways that refresh and sustain you for long-term success.

For over ten years the Alexandria Brown Bag has provided applicable, innovative professional development to Washington Metro Area association professionals and those who provide services to associations. Networking begins at 11:30 with the session beginning at noon.  Bring your lunch and plenty of business cards. Free street and on-site parking is available. ASAE members and nonmembers are invited to attend. Nonmembers should contact the event coordinator to RSVP.
