The CEO’s ability to perform with excellence is dependent on a high performance governance system.
About the Session
Governance provides leadership, direction and accountability to ensure your association is fulfilling its mission. Although the governance responsibility rests with your board of directors, it is the CEO’s responsibility to lead the effort to strengthen board performance and ensure that the governance system is delivering value to the organization. In fact, the CEO’s ability to perform with excellence is dependent on a high performance governance system.
Join us for the Tuesday, December 1, 2020 DC Swap where our speaker, @Robert Nelson, CAE, Principal, Nelson Strategic Consulting, will share information about how to redesign your association’s governance.
Robert will talk about how to evaluate your current system and share a process CEOs need to introduce the concept of governance redesign. He’ll also share considerations for getting buy-in from board members and discuss a governance system design framework.
Using tips from this session, you will walk away with knowledge needed to redesign your governance system so that its functionality is improved and the Board is better positioned to add value.
