DC Swap: When Less is More: Writing enticing headlines, subject lines & digital posts

Thursday, July 13, 2017, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

THIS EVENT IS FULL. Thank you for your interest, please join the DC swap in a future month.

To connect with your association members and stakeholders, you must be able to write short, snappy copy. Whether that copy is a subject line, an article title, a government affairs alert, or a photo caption, associations need to take a less is more approach when writing to their audiences.

The July D.C. Swap will provide guidance on how to “write short.” Our speaker is Leslie O'Flahavan, owner of E-WRITE, author, and online writing expert. Leslie will discuss how association staff can improve the quality of their short copy in subject lines for email messages, article headlines and social media postings. An experienced writer and trainer, Leslie can help even the most stubborn, inexperienced, or word-phobic association staff members improve their writing skills, so they can do their jobs better and get great results for their associations.

Bring your lunch and a drink for this free event.
