No matter what the title in our associations, the person who supports/assists the executive staff (CEO, President, Exec Dir, CFO, etc) needs a place where they can ask questions of each other. Right now I know an EA who could really save time in booking the right restaraunt for the Exec Dir she supports. Google search not only doesn't ensure that the place has great food or service but when you need specifics - enough light to see the menu, quiet enough to have a meeting, in a certain part of town, etc. If she could post to a group she'd have the answer that day. And how about - what software do people use for.....? or - what's the best website for comparing office supplies?.
Before I just click on Create a New Community - how many of you might suggest to your Exeutive Assistant (or whatever the title is for those roles in your org) to Join and participate?
