I'm going to post this to other Collaborate groups. I chose to post first to Diversity and, because in the Capehart interview she spoke of API perceptions and identities, to Asian-Pacific Islander group.
None of the interviews is long; each (the 6th & I one may be an hour; I couldn't attend) provides a bit of what the project and book are about.
How might we use this - "race in 6 words" - within ASAE? for the associations with which you work or others to which you belong? How do we have tough conversations about race and identity? In particular, I'm interested in having these conversations about disabilities because it is often left out of the "DEIAB" space and conversations.
Be warm and safe and well. Another snowy day in DC and I'm grateful to be inside and hope that others who can't be, will not be harmed or get sick.
