Tomorrow is the 13th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).
The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than One Billion people with disabilities/impairments.
Now's a great time to scan hashtag #GAAD hashtags and to check with your "disability inclusive" organizations in your mix to see who is promoting digital accessibility inclusion.
What is Digital Accessibility?
Digital accessibility refers to the ability of people with disabilities/impairments to independently consume and/or interact with digital (e.g., web, mobile) applications and content.

"Accessibility Removes Barriers and Unlocks the Possible"
This GAAD is a great day to learn how you and/or your organization can remove barriers for people with disabilities in the digital and physical world.
Visit the GAAD site to find programs and events happening this week and tomorrow (every accessibility organization's busiest day).
