I'm interested in hearing how other program accreditors are thinking about the recent and renewed federal efforts to formally restrict DEI initiatives for institutions that receive federal funding.

A few colleagues and I came across this article, which prompted some internal discussion about potential direct or indirect implications for accreditation work:

I'd be interested in hearing from others in the credentialing/accreditation community:

• Are you evaluating whether these developments could affect your accreditation standards or processes?

• Have you heard any concerns from programs or institutions related to DEI-related language in accreditation standards?

• Are your organizations monitoring this issue or communicating with programs in any way?

Would really value hearing how others are thinking about this or whether it has come up in conversations within your accrediting body.
