    Thanks for creating this community! I got my CAE last year and I'd like to make it part of a move for a promotion this year. Has anyone does this? Any strategies for making a compelling case?

    What a great question! I'm looking forward to seeing replies. 

    Some organizations add earning the CAE as a milestone for career progression or promotion, but in the cases where it was not "required" you could point out your ongoing commitment to professional development, and how the CAE prepares you to think like a C-Suite leader. This demonstrates that you have the knowledge to lead and to take on more high-level tasks.
