Does anyone do awards/ recognition for their trade publication authors? We've had some of the same columnist authors for our magazine for years and I would like to acknowledge their contributions as a special recognition.
I'm looking for ideas for the award, what to call it, how was it presented, etc.
We have an annual award ceremony at our conference and we have an awards program with a nomination process and selection committee. However, this is more something from the association (without nomination) but recognizing our authors for their years of contributions towards our profession.
Any suggestions or hints would be appreciated.
