Hi Samantha, I appreciate this response. I'm very new to ASAE. So, I be happy to wait and see how I may help out in any way possible.

Peter,
I have no idea how it was formed or who was invited. There wasn't a public call for interest.
Maybe someone from ASAE that is in this group can respond to your interest.
There were dozens of long time ASAE disability advocates that would have been interested - there is no public listing of who was invited or even the goals that I've been able to find even upon asking.
Good luck, I hope they'll take you up on your interest.

Hi, I would be interested in joining this Task Force. Is it too late to join? I also will be attending the ASAE Annual Meeting in Clevement. I would be interested in connecting with others interested in improving the experience for those with visible and hidden disabilities. -Peter

No details (I haven't yet found anything published) for the official goal, how the task force will function, or who the consultant is that is leading the work along with Maunda Land.
I wrote to ask and a staff member returned the following:
"I am glad the word is out! The Task Force is comprised of 13 association members from across the membership and met on May 23rd ...but wanted you to know that the "rumors" are true and we are excited about the insights this Task Force will bring to ASAE."
So for those of you following along, there is something in place.
Tim (D&I Committee Chair) says they've hired an expert in the field to work with the task force.
Watch some spaces - not sure which/where - for an announcement about a public listening meeting with disabled members in June (virtual) and a session at Annual in person.
That's all I have for ya.
Ya'll take care of one another!
