Hello all!

Thank you @Adam Kuhn, for creating this group!   Before rolling them out to your production environment, how do you test out policies or settings?  I created a Lab environment where I could learn how to manage and implement technologies that I think will be a good fit for our organization.  In my Lab, I use an Open Source Hypervisor called Proxmox VE, I use this to spin up Windows and Linux endpoints.  Seventy percent of my users are on macOS, so I run a virtualized macOS on an HP Omen Gaming computer running Windows 11.  To play around with Office 365 environments, I use Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 E5 trial accounts.  I buy cheap domains from Goddady to use with my Office 365 tenant labs.  What Lab environments do you use for testing and learning?

I'm going to start with a test lab 365 environment.  I have a VMWare server inhouse - so that will be one virtual environment.  I also have a Win 2019 box serving as a simple landing box running PRTG - so I suspect VirtualBox could run on that as well.  

Wow - this is going to be quite the Rabbit hole - but the opportunity to break things without impacting the org is important - and will allow more risk taking.

Make sure you have a lot of RAM for the Virtualbox host if you plan to virtualize a macOS.  32 GB of ram for the host is a good baseline.
