Charge:

The purpose of the Healthcare Community Committee is to support the professional needs of association executives that engage in the management of healthcare associations, through education, networking, and knowledge of current trends in healthcare. The committee provides a forum for sharing best practices in the field of healthcare association management through topic focused work. Volunteers will be expected to participate in the work of the group through meetings and smaller work groups.


Kick-Off Meeting Info (date, time & location):

This group has 2 in-person meetings and conference calls every other month.

The kickoff meeting for the group will be during ASAE’s Annual Meeting & Expo on Saturday, August 12th in Toronto, Canada. The second in-person meeting is usually in the winter at ASAE Headquarters.

  • New volunteers are required to attend the volunteer group’s kickoff meeting in order to serve. There is no virtual option for this meeting.
  • Council members (or their organizations)pay their own travel expenses to attend meetings.   ASAE does not reimburse Board, Committee, or Council members for travel.
  • Members can only serve 1 (one) volunteer group (council or committee) at a time.
