Event Description
What to consider when you’re considering an AMC for government relations and advocacy
When:
Mar 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (ET)
Associated with
Government Relations and Advocacy Professionals Community
Association Management Companies (AMCs) help advance the missions of associations in many important ways, including government relations and advocacy. From managing grassroots efforts to monitoring policy developments to direct lobbying, AMCs work with their association clients to maximize their political impact and achieve their policy goals in Washington, DC, state capitals from coast to coast, and even around the world.
Many associations have questions when thinking about working with AMCs to advocate for their profession or industry. What services are available? How do volunteer leaders and AMC government relations professionals work together? How is advocacy integrated into an AMCs overall work for a client?
To help answer these questions and more, please join the AMC Professionals Advisory Council and the ASAE Government Relations and Advocacy Professionals Advisory Council on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST to hear from a panel of experts about associations can work with AMCs to represent their interests before policymakers. Leveraging best practices and case studies, attendees will understand how associations and AMCs can partner to advance the interests of associations and their members in today’s fast-moving political ecosystem.
Live attendees will receive 1 CAE credit.
