CEX 2019: Association Component Exchange

When:  Oct 18, 2019 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (ET)

CEX is back!

What is CEX?
CEX is a forum for all of us managing, nurturing and working with association components to explore, create, and evolve these essential member communities. CEX is a learning community!

Why a Forum?
Because a traditional association conference won't offer unique peer-to-peer learning, creative problem-solving and networking with the people who understand components.

It’s no secret that there's currently a gap in education for associations that operate in a component model. We want to help fill that gap. Gather with professionals to...

  1. discuss great ideas
  2. what's working & what's not
  3. best practices & more!

Who should attend?
National association professionals operating within the component structure (chapters, state affiliates, divisions, sections)

  • Check-in, breakfast, sessions and conference activities run from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
  • Networking & happy hour from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
  • 2018's agenda can be found here.

Need to convince your supervisor?
We'll have a letter you can use to make a case for attending available soon.

Coming in from out of town?
If you don't live/work in the DC metro area, we have accommodations for you! We'll have a group rate at the conference hotel available soon.

What can I expect to see at CEX?
An ‘Experience Squad’ of 17 association component relations professionals (CRPs) helped us design the program for CEX 2018: Association Component Exchange. We talked with three CRPs on why they’re excited to attend and what they hoped to learn. See what they had to say on why CEX fills the gap.

If that's not enough, here are ten reasons you won’t want to miss out on the second annual CEX.
