My responsibilities are to implement "exemplary" systems at ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership that can serve as a model to the rest of the association community and to "ratchet-up" the use and understanding of technology among ASAE/Center members. He has been working with and/or for non-profit organizations since 1985. Mr. Henry also co-founded and managed the management consulting firm Henry, Kinnelly and Associates, a management consulting firm.
Mr. Henry speaks regularly on technology, board development, and strategy issues. His most recent speaking engagements include the 2008 Association Technology Conference, 2008 AIIM International Exposition and Conference, 2008 Council of Engineering and Scientific Societies Executives Mid-Winter Meetings, Pittsburg Society of Association Executives 5th Annual Masters Conference, 2007 US Chamber, Institute for Organization Management, 2007 AICPA & CPA/SEA Interchange, Oncology Nursing Society 2007 Mentorship Weekend, 2007 Trucking Association Executives Council Annual Meeting, 2007 Gilbane Conference.
Mr. Henry holds a B.S. in Economics and Computer Science from Georgetown University. Mr. Henry is a founding board member and past board chair of NPower Greater DC Region, an organization that exists to enhance the capacity of community-based nonprofits in the Washington metropolitan area to serve humanity in the information age. He is also a past President and Board Member of Community Ministry of Montgomery County, MD, and also was a founding board member of Pathways to Healing, a support organization for adult survivors of child abuse. He enjoys cooking, drawing, pottery and golf.
